Indeed, the software requires a physical USB lock key in order to access it. This happens because the software is not free to use, even it can be downloaded successfully.
You will have to contact the developers of the application in order to obtain additional data required for the usage of AcroRIP application.
Just bought DTG printer Epson 1390, and tried to install Acrorip 7.09 but failed. It said that it only works in Windows XP. Is Acrorip 8 compatible with my Windows 7 Home Premium? Which Acrorip version is suitable for Windows 7 Home Premium? Thanks a lot for your help.

The latest version 8.20 is compatible with Windows 7 and its variants. You can install it just fine, but make sure to select Run as Administrator when you launch the installer.
Do you perhaps have any advice? When trying to print using Acrorip W and send the print job to the printer it activates error lights on my printer, however I can send print jobs without any problems without using AcroRIP.

A possible cause is the AcroRIP application might be sending invalid printing commands, that's why you can print from other applications and fail with this one. Switch everything on the default mode or at least open another application, and then access its Print section. Configure AcroRIP's printing preferences to look like the ones from an application that still works.
The key I've received from the developers can't activate the program.

There are three possible cases why you can't register the application:
You mistyped the serial number. Double check the serial number and enter it again.
The serial number is wrong or used. Contact the developers and explain the situation.
You need to allow AcroRIP communicate with the online servers. Access your firewall and add it to the Exclusion list. This should give exclusive access to reach the activation servers if online activation is necessary.
The AcoroRip ask for a key. I have a key for an older version of AcoroRip. But it's not recognizing my key. What am I doing wrong?

In some cases it's possible that the old serial number to be incompatible with the new version of the software. This means that the only way to register the application is by obtaining a new code. You can do this through the Customer page at the official website. Use the contact form to get in touch with the tech support. They will clarify the situation.
As you can see, only the R290 is supported which means you won't have the possibility to use it with a R300 and besides that, no other information is found for the software and the mentioned device.
